About the facilities
The facilities of student union building basement are owned by the student union. The facilities have been renovated on 2010 and are good for various type of activities. The facilities are suitable for table parties, game nights and other events. If you would like to see the facilities or need more information please contact [email protected].
The facilities are available for everyone to rent but the prices are more affordable to the members of the student union.

Terms of use: basement, sauna and sauna cabinet
1 § The booker pledges to pay the Student Union a usage fee for reserving the facilities in accordance with the price list.
2 § The booker is obliged to inspect the facilities before the start of the reservation, fill in the inspection form and return it when returning the key.
3 § The booker shall get acquainted with the cleaning instructions of the facilities and follow them. If necessary, the extra cleaning work will be billed separately according to the billing of the cleaning service provider. If the facility is unclean at the beginning of the booking, the booker is obliged to notify the secretary * with a photo.
4 § The booker has full liability for damage caused to premises or furniture. Booker is obliged to notify the secretary* of the damage caused. When the insurance compensates for the damage, the booker reimburses the amount of the deductible paid by the Student Union.
5 § The facilities must be cleaned, empty and in order by the end of the reservation, no later than in the morning at 08:00, unless a later handover of the facilities has been agreed in advance.
6 § The booker carefully reads the facility’s safety instructions and follows them during the booking.
7 § The booker is obliged to inform the Student Union of the reason for the reservation. In the event of a deviation from the stated use, the Student Union has the right to suspend the reservation and clear the facilities.
8 § Smoking and overnight stays on the facilities are strictly prohibited.
9 § The booker is responsible for ensuring that Finnish law, good manners and the spirit of Skinnarila are not violated during the reservation. LTKY has the right to demand a security guard for events of more than 100 people.
10 § If the booker violates any of the previous sections, the Board of the Student Union has the right to impose a ban by decision on the booker’s use of the Student Union’s facilities and goods.
11 § Reservation can be canceled free of charge one week before the reservation date.
